Hello there,
I have just reviewed a book "The handbook of sustainability literacy" edited by Arran Stibbe. Really good one for practioners who are keen on getting people to think about and reflect on global, socio-environmental issues from multiple perspectives. It includes contributions from well-known names and each chapter, fairly short and accessible - contains suggestions for activities to get on with. I would recommend a try.
And of course, there is "Science, society and sustainability: education and empowerment for an uncertain world" published by Routledge. I am one of the co-editors and chaper author. The book brings together theory and practice as each chapter is written by people who are academics and also professionals from different disciplines interested in sustainability and global issues. Give it a try or review it for the forum!
