	The IDEAS ‘Taking a Global Approach to ITE’ project has ensured that a core collection of twenty-three EGCSD resources (covering Early Years, Primary and Secondary) is now available in all of the Scottish universities providing Initial Teacher Education. Check below for the location of these resources in your own university. All of these resources can also be borrowed from your local Development Education Centre (see Related Organisations ) or ordered direct from Scotdec ( link to ordering site ). The Core Resources can help build up a toolkit of activities for the classroom, relevant to Curriculum for Excellence develop knowledge, skills and confidence of participatory, learner-centred teaching methods educate to bring about a fairer, more sustainable world They represent a small number of the many fantastic resources produced in this area and have been selected as an ideal introduction to the area. The Scottish Development Education Centres ( see Related Organisations ) hold a much wider range of EGCSD resources that you and your students can browse and borrow. It is not always possible for University libraries to shelve the EGCSD resources together due to cataloguing restrictions so a booklet has been produced to highlight the collection.
